Parents, we want to partner with you! As a partner in this season of your student’s life, we believe the key to any good partnership is communication. We want to communicate with you clearly and often. We want you to know what’s going on and we want to help you engage your student in conversations about their faith.

That’s why we are dedicated to keeping three valuable resources for you to stay connected with us: calendar, conversation, and care. We want to provide you with the calendar to know what’s going on, the conversation to engage with what your student is learning, and the care to help you in any way we can.

Calendar

We want you to be in-the-know of what is going on: when we meet, where to be, what to bring. We want you to have the details. So any events, including normal service times and flow, we have the who, what, when, where, why, and how much on our Calendar page.

Conversation

Have you ever asked your student, “What did you guys talk about today?” and the response was something like, “Jesus?” Or just,  “Faith and stuff.” We can help you ask more specific questions to hopefully get more out of them. We want to help you join the conversation with what we are teaching and talking about with your student. The best way to do that is by checking out our calendar or our youtube channel.

You can see the big idea and key verses for each YX so you're ready to continue the conversation at home by clicking in to a service event on the calendar. With our YX Youth Youtube Channel you can listen to the same teaching your student is getting. We record our High School environment so you can watch the playback of the service at your convenience.

Care

As your student’s parent, you are the primary disciple maker in your student’s life. You are the one God assigned to mentor, disciple, coach, correct, and raise your student. The way we view YX is it is a supplement designed to help reinforce your leadership. We are on the same team and we have your back!

We are available to meet if you ever need some time for you or your student with our group leaders, youth staff, or our pastoral care team.
