In what ways do you relate to Gomer in the story of Hosea? Have you ever felt like you were running from God’s love?

The message talks about obedience as something we "get to" do rather than a chore. How does shifting your perspective on obedience change the way you live out your faith?
What are some things in your life that you find difficult to surrender to God? Why do you think surrender is so closely tied to experiencing His love?
Hosea 6:6 says, “For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings.” What do you think this means in today’s world? How can you apply it to your life?
